A Frustrated Interior Designer

Aside from being a dancer, I wanted to become a famous Interior Designer since Grade School. At an early age, I learned this craft by designing our home, reinventing  every pieces  that will fit  - in my own style, particularly the Master’s bedroom and the Living room.

I was influenced by my mom who is very Obsessive-Compulsive. In fact, we used to bond in the Home Depot section of SM department Stores, shopping for furniture, and display items that we could add in our monthly themed-inspired house. My mom would always consider my opinion and most of the time prefer my suggestions over her taste. Indeed, Mother's know best! Lol.

When it was about to decide what course to take in college, I didn't consider Theatre Arts and Interior Designing because I considered both as a passion and a craft, not a career so I  opt choosing Business Administration majoring in Financial Management. It broke my heart giving up what I really loved to do (performing and designing) - but there comes a point in our lives that we need to choose. I promised to myself that it will not end here because I am planing to pursue studies for interior designing someday. It's not too late!

As of now, I am a fan of reading blog sites relating to Interior Design and DIY craft for homes which now I will share to you.

Desire to inspire is one of my favorite blogs I follow in Bloglovin. It features home design, styling, unique home architecture, and hottest furniture that one will definitely love and admire.

Below are just a sample of their home features.

Lesson learned?! Don't stop chasing your dreams when it gives you a sense of accomplishment and real happiness. I might not be a licensed Interior Designer now but someday I will definitely be one of them.

God Bless!
