Photo Review 2012

In just a few hours, I am about to bid goodbye to year 2012. And before the year ends, I'm posting a photo review displaying the best events, the best people and the best things of 2012.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me start with the best class in the College of Commerce and Administration (shhh this is only a  secret). Hahaha. I'm saying this because I love my section so much, and not because I am against with the others. I hope I will not be misunderstood. :)

Financial Management section 1
Well, this section showcased all they've got (inborn and developed) both for Academics and Extra-curricular activities. It had the most number of student leaders from different student organization in and out of UST, had the most number of performers in and out of the country (UST Singers, Arkimmerce, varsity, etc.), and of course the most number of cum laude's in College of Commerce and Business Administration batch of 2012.

Oil and Gas
Above image is the Oil and Gas family. The best team (FOR ME) in KPI Collection. LOL. We had the most number of data fields and the most complicated policy (second  to Banking Industry). We are also the second largest team. We are all fresh graduate who worked for the company in April of this year. More than half are true-blooded Thomasians.

Big Whiskey Dancers is my second family in the office. Yan ang malulufet na perfomers ng kumpanya! Sinong kokontra?! LOL. Due to our versatility we can actually conquer the Big Dome! Yes, that is the fighting spirit. (Apologies for my pride)

Of course, I will not forget this persons. The BULLY BEARS! They are the longest friends I ever known since third year college and also the most trustworthy, supportive, and loyal of all people. The name signifies the two kinds of trend in the Stock Market. The Bullish Market - the time to buy stocks and the Bearish Market - the time to sell stocks.

Meet my niece, Neesha Ghail Carlos, who is photogenic and very active. :)

And of course, my pictures of the whole year. Can you spot the difference? Hahaha.

I wish that I was able to include every people who has been part of my 2012.

So much for that,
2013 here I go, Today My Life Begins.....

Bye!

Lipstick from Wet n' Wild

I'm still not over with the Christmas season since everybody is still haggling with their Christmas shopping, everyone feeling and looking vibrant, ecstatic and blissful.

Just like other people in the globe, I also want to share some of the Christmas gifts I received this year and the two of them came from my two closest friends. This friends who also went with the same university and college gave me lipsticks as a gift. So kind - cause I honestly didn't thought of it. I am actually expecting books, pouches, purses, and the basics as a gift since they see me as a bookworm and as obsessive compulsive person.

Carmina, a friend and a co-junior executive of Junior Financial and Investment Executive (JFINEX) gave me the 24k Carrot Gold Lipstick from Wet n' Wild.

Meanwhile, Gaylyn, a friend and a co-member of UST JFINEX Dance Synergy who happens to be my office mate as well, bought me a Velvet Pink shade from  Maybelline New York.

Watershine Pure P11 (Maybelline New York)

You don't know how much I love lipsticks! I can face a bunch of people even without my make-up as long as I wear a lipstick. By the way, I don't have a photo with my Maybelline Lipstick on cause I haven't use it yet. I'll post it on the next blog entry.

See you real soon fellas.

Belated Merry Christmas and Advance Happy New Year.

BIG WHISKEY DANCERS

The long wait is finally over!

Industry Research Group (IRG) and Factset Industry in Taxonomy (FIT) won the dance competition in our company’s Christmas party held last December 08, 2012 at Harbour Garden Tent, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel.

Out of four participants coming from different towns, our team was proclaimed winner for the Mob Dance Competition. Finally, all our effort has paid off; including our production loss for weeks and our vast expenses before the contest. It was unexpected since our department is new and our number is still growing as compared to other towns.

What really makes us proud is the triumph over a three-time champion in Factset for years. FUNDAMENTALS team always brings home the bacon, given they have the largest number and they have the most number of experienced dancers. However, what they showed last Christmas party is but a mere dance number and nothing else.  :)

On the other hand, ours is a total package. We had a video presentation, a skit, and a sing and dance number.  I am very proud to tell the whole world that it was the grandest production number I did as a professional (because I’m a college graduate now).  LOL.

Everyone still manages to smile after a long day of practice.

------ Apologies: will upload the official video once I get a copy-----

I also want to share the extreme happiness doing this project because I was given a chance to perform again after being stagnant and motionless in the workplace. I really missed dancing - plus singing without my Chorale buddies. You don't know how much I love and miss both in every way. :D

So much for the narration. It's about time to say thank you to this following people.

The first person I want to thank is Ms. Lanie Caparas for her unremitting support, encouragement, and assistance. She didn't give up on us against all odds.

I want to thank Mr. Kim Nimrod Cruz for arranging the music for us and for paying attention to all our concerns. As a matter of fact, we are lucky for having him in this event.  Thanks also to his very good friend, Mr. Carlo Garcia, for showcasing  his guitar skills during the act and for handing us down the resources we needed.

I all so feel grateful that we have Ms. Carose Bobbit Bautista and Mr. Marc Roden Ilagan as both dancers and choreographer. Lastly, to all IRG Dancers who sacrificed time, effort, health and money just to make winning possible.

In spite of all the distress and difficulties that came across, we gave our heart into something that unites us. We believed that to become victorious it didn't requires great skill and expertise, but a heart willing to learn and brave enough to take the risk.

Gaining more friends is far more important than winning. And I thanked God for showing me the way to this event as a performer and as a friend.

-------------------------------------

We do not dance, we PERFORM.

And that what makes Big Whiskey Dancers a real winner.

It Takes A Lifetime To Forget Someone

Yes! I have to tell the truth. I am not still over with the last and the only guy I loved. It's been years and I still remember the feelings and the memories. Past keeps on haunting me down even during my sleep.

I should have totally moved on.

I should have forgiven myself for the pain and for the mistakes.

I should have said sorry.

I should have it all done, if I only have the COURAGE and if I only let go of my PRIDE.

Love Qoutes 01

Everyone says that loves hurts,
but that's not true.

Loneliness hurts.

Rejection hurts.

Losing someone hurts.

Everyone confuse these things with love but reality,

love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful all over again.
