HYPOCHONDRIASIS

I never been hospitalized.

I never experienced going through laboratory examinations.
I never had an encounter with a physician in my whole life.

I guess I developed a phobia which leads me to an excessive preoccupation of having a serious illness.
Its just so sad that my first encounter with a doctor,
requires me to undergo a Minor Surgery!

My goodnesss. Why?
So cruel. Surgery agad?!
That's why I always hesitated to consult from a doctor.
Im afraid of what will come up with their mouth
and their trained sales talk.
They manipulate people's minds and they over-react.
They give excessive and OA diagnosis.

But the other side of me says,
that, It might be true.
The question is,
should I undergo the surgery?
Or defer this to escape from fear and pain?

Who's my KDrama Heroine??

7:34 AM Hanaphinee 0 Comments

There is something really special about korean leading ladies that Filipina actresses don't have. Aside from having a natural beauty with a fair complexion, they don't need to wear sexy dresses such as plunging necklines, backless, spaghetti straps and halter tops that most women do just to show men how stunning they are. As for me, korean ladies are naturally cuddly and cute, they don't need an extra effort to appear like one in the TV. Also, they are all completely wholesome -- since they rarely had kissing scenes with their loveable and hunk leading men (as far as I know they only did that for a maximum of 3 scenes).

I love all their characters may it be a high school student, young entrepreneur, or ahjumma, they're still adorable as ever. There are some who really captured my heart because of their heart-warming scenes and some left a remarkable influence to me. Among the six special characters here are my top 4 favorites who I prefer to be one:

4. GO MI NAM

“He’s like a bright, shining star. When I receive that light, I feel brighter and also darker. When it’s bright I get my hopes up, and when it darkens I feel disappointment. I hate myself for this and feel ashamed.”

Park Shin Hye - who gained more popularity through idol drama series You're Beautiful is playing the role of Go Mi Nyu, a sister-in-training who pretended to be her twin brother to be casted on the famous singing boy group ANJell.  Out of her love to her twin brother and in order to fulfill her dream of finding their mother she accepted the offer after a long refusal to step in for Go Mi Nam as the new member of the idol group.

Go Mi Nam also has an innocent spirit mainly because of her extensive stay in the monastery. Mi Nam is soft and timid, she lacks social life and flexibility. She is highly religious and very passionate and forgiving. I want to possess her holy persona and her submissive attitude for I know I can never be very nice to a proudest person even if that person happened to be my crush. She's calm most of the time but whenever Hwang Tae Kyung is near she lack of words and actions which is very common to girls but in her case she is totally clueless of her feelings.

3. PARK GAE IN

“I’m just going to trust you. Even if I get used a hundred, a thousand times, I’m just going to trust you. Even if it’s foolish. That’s the advantage of being Park Gae-In. Even if you use me again, even if I’m sad again, I’m just going to trust you. Because I can’t say goodbye like this.”

Played by Hallyu star Son Ye Jin, which is one of my favorite actresses in Korean because of her exceptional acting skills no matter how challenging the role is. Park Gae In is characterized as a clumsy gal, who has no steps and is constantly making mistakes and apologizing as well and who doesn't know how to be a REAL WOMAN. A woman hurt by love but still manages to live life the way she wants to be and paying no heed to other people's opinion.

I'm like Gae In for some time, very trusting which people take advantage of constantly. She is very warm, cuddly and always wear a smile on her face despite the pain she is feeling seeing her ex boyfriend and best friend together after betraying her. Only few women can be so positive in the face of hopeless tomorrows. The thing I like about her is her unending concern with the people she loves (Jeon Jin Ho) and the people once she loved (her best friend who took away her past lover). Her innocent spirit and her weak personality that constantly people take advantage of made me more associated with her nice character.

2. OH HA NI

"Even if he's cold towards me. Even if he says things I don't like. It was nice just being with him."

Characterized as dim-witted, bottom of the class who falls for the perfectionist of their batch. Determined and very patient. Although she is far from intelligent, to her, happiness isn’t all about grades or looks. Embarassing is not part of her vocabulary. Even if she falls hundreds of times, she gets back up every time. Oh Ha Ni is played by actress Jung So Min, a not very famous actress but is now starting to create a name in Korea.

In spite of her high energy and unremitting fighting spirit she does also feels pain and rejection because of her insecurities from other people. Knowing that the love of her life is totally opposite to her she does not lose hope and continue to love him against all odds even in uncertainty. What I like most of Oh Ha Ni is her palpable expression of love towards Baek Seung Jo though she didn't tell him in words, her actions and gestures show for herself. I cannot actually, tell my crush and I could not even give him a love letter expressing my feelings, for it is so old-fashioned. In addition, she is so cute whenever she feels so 'kilig' with Baek Seung Jo almost every little deeds. Lastly, I'd like her when she insist to do things she was never good at just to be with Seung Jo. She did all her homeworks, studied hard for the qualifying and waited for her love to come out of the building rain or shine. That is what I define PURE LOVE. :D

And my most favorite character above all is no other than

1. GEUM JAN DI

“Can you hear me? While you’ve been away, I’ve thought of you every day — but why do I only remember us fighting? Still, isn’t it odd? I only remember us fighting and getting mad all the time, but when I think about you, I laugh. You’re okay, right? When are you going to come back and fight with me?”

Headstrong daughter of a dry cleaner. Geum Jan Di an average who possesses a great courage. She and her family is not well-off but full of dreams and aspirations. She loves sports most particularly swimming. Down-to-earth and a friend you can always count on.

Jan Di's character really captured my heart in fact until now I still admire her. All her sacrifices and hard-work is near to impossible and yet she had endure it all. She was indeed a big catch for all boys for her nice and exceptional attitude but men would just only ignore her because of her status and her strong personality, only Gu Jun Pyo had come across with her good persona. I want to be like her REALLY. No one has great courage other than her, also she fight for what is right regardless of whom she is opposing with. Jan Di cares a lot for her friends and she will fight for them till the end. Although her feelings for Jun Pyo has a slow progress compared to her feelings with Ji Hoo yet she believe in their love with each other and did all she can for the sake of lost love tested by Jun Pyo's mother. Jan Di is a modern wonderwoman for me. A role model to all women who wishes to find her knight in shining armor in the very least expected time. :D

They are my most unkabogable korean leading ladies characters which I actually admire, hoping that I may have the same qualities that they all do have. See you next blog post everyone.

Cause I can't help myself thinking of you.

We haven't seen each other for a very long time.
Yet, I still care for you.

Tell me what to do??

I already MISS YOU.

How will I ever get rid of you?

Tell me now WHAT TO DO??!!

High School Life - enjoy the difference

11:35 AM Hanaphinee 0 Comments

High School Life! What a grief when I first thought of leaving high school. No more endless chit-chatting with friends when we were actually talking about other people's lives. Gossip might be the right term, but we don't actually invent stories, we have just this so-called "INTUITION" of everything around us and then we began to converse.

Aside from intruding  lives, no more endless time to laugh with all our might,

to cry with the most important people and friends by our side and

to aspire with the person with the same aspirations and creed as we do have.

Because after high school we have to deal everything on our own.
Calling ourselves as absolute INDIVIDUAL not DEPENDENTS of others provision.

 No more Junior-Senior Prom.

No more Cheerdancing.
No more batch t-shirts.

No more studio pic.

And no more chorale singing at UECN (United Evangelical Church of Naga) once in a month.

What I will never forget from being a high school student is the bond with our dear good  friends.
A friend who is always there, in the sad and good times.
Problems do break and make friendship but one thing is for sure, a FRIEND is whom you can always count on.

There might be misunderstanding between friends but it will all be for the mean time; eventually hard feelings will subside and everything will be back to normal.
Even better than before.

"The brotherhood".
One is a science geek.
The other aims to be the next President of the Philippines.
One guy is a sports medalist.
The last compliments the three because of his unceasing humor.

 Future boy band group.

"HOOFPRINT"
Probably next to One Republic and Spongecola.
Exceptional talent, I must say.
Dreaming of buying their album someday.

Love out of Dance.
CICATRIX

 Some are born-talent.
Some are out of desperation.
But all we need is the PASSION.

No group in particular.
As the song goes, "Girls just wanna have fun".
Enjoying life to the fullest.

Single Ladies.

Hopeless Romantic. :)

Unkabogable friendship.
PALOS
 Really different personalities.
  Rare and exceptional friendship.
   They go with the flow.
AND
They really know how to deal with other people.

I am now counting the end of my formal study.
We will be graduating -- soon be practicing our own field of study.
I never thought of regretting  how I have chosen to live my high school life.
Old folks are correct for saying that 'High School Life is the best', the single moment of your life wherein one is trying to know himself deep down without any reference to other people.
Just being yourself.

We might be taking different path from these day on but still were here for each other.

In good times,
how happy we might seem to be.

Or how busy we are at this very moment.

Still, we claim ourselves as GOOD FRIENDS. Just like the OLD DAYS. :)
